Since Kenzie acted up last week in class, Cindy told her that she was going to be "volunteering" in her classroom to learn more about her behavior. Kenzie looked confused, bewildered, and powerless, just what we were hoping for. Further proof that this was a good idea came this afternoon in an email from Miss Janet to Cindy:

Mackenzie said to me with her saddest face “Are you really letting ama come to our class tomorrow?” It was the best!
