We took a 3 hour road trip today to La Paz on some very narrow, curvy roads. Our 15 passenger van was a bit of a challenge to park in the city, but we were happy to be off the road. The gelato was quite refreshing in the high heat. We bought a bunch of stuff that we didn't need in an attempt to spend our pesos. On the way home we stopped by a couple of roadside mercados and bought some more stuff we didn't need from the locals.
