Me: Did Ms. Janet read a story?
Kenzie: Uh, yeah.
Me: What did she read?
Kenzie: Well, I don't remember.
Me, getting desperate: What did Aidan wear today?
Kenzie, perking up considerably: He wore pants and a belt. And different shoes today. His shoes were so handsome! And he had on a nice shirt, a striped shirt with short sleeves.
Me: Interesting...did you have Spanish today?
